Hope all of you are having a good riding season this summer. What are some of the rides you have been on? Have you met new people along the way?

Just got back today from A wonderful summer ride (little long winded  )
It was one I truly needed for myself! It wasn?t very long maybe an hour or two but none the less adventurous. What started out as a stress reliever, with a thousand thoughts of worry frustration and a million other distractions slowly became a wonderful commune with my God! (Funny how that happens)
As In the nature of my relationship with my heavenly father, he used humorous way of getting me out thoughts of self with a gentile little prodding, with a bee up my leather which decided to plant his stinger in the under of my upper arm! I then pulled over jumped off the bike jumped around like a crazy man (judging by the looks of faces of passers bye) turned my sleeve inside out, found the little Creation that had caused an amazing amount of pain for his size just glaring at me. As I was just about to remove it from existence I just looked up smiled and flicked him off to flight.
It was the first time all day I wasn?t thinking about any of the previous problems! I just smiled and breathed and began to enjoy the ride.
It was wonderful; a nice rolling hill that gave way to a winding road that gently rose up to the large hills of upstate NY, that followed a river up to a large waterfall (truly an awe-inspiring sight!) I pulled off to the side of the road took some pictures and went for a walk down a trail that led to the river, there were some smaller rocks that led to a large boulder in the middle of the river as if they were placed just right so you could walk right out to the center, so I did!.
As I was standing there I took a couple of pictures and thought to myself how anyone could deny there being a GOD! The sounds, smells and beauty of nature were truly intoxicating. As I was thinking this an extraordinary beam of sun light just spilled out upon the boulder I was standing on, I don?t know how to describe it I just went down on my knee and prayed as if I had no choice it was truly amazing! Afterwards I went back up to my bike and just saw everything in a new light, I felt as if I had a simple understanding yet so profound I can?t find the words to explain it!
Again as before I rode with a million thoughts in my mind but this time with praise and a great amount of joy in my heart and just enjoyed the scenery, and thought how could I ever have been stressed out worried and so preoccupied about so many things beyond my control I will NEVER HAVE ANOTHER PROBLEM AMEN!!!! Just as I proclaimed this there it was a large bumble bee just hanging in the air as I was doing 60mph. SMACK! Right in the face! Leaving a stream of tears and a golf ball sized welt on my face. I pulled over calmly this time removed the biggest stinger I?ve ever seen wiped my eyes looked up to heaven and praised my heavenly father ?I get the Message!?
Life isn?t a perfect state of bliss nor is it ever to difficult, do all you can the best you can, and leave it in your Fathers hands! Now get out LIVE! AND ENJOY THE RIDE!
